Our Job Requirements

Our Caregiver and Nurse Duties

We offer our caregivers the opportunity to engage, interact, and care for seniors in a wide range of ways. Here are some of the duties you’re expected to perform in this role:

  • Becoming your client’s best friend.
  • Being a companion and engaging in fun, relaxing, productive activities.
  • Assisting with personal care and daily living.
  • Reminding clients to take their medication.
  • Performing light housekeeping, meal preparation, and feeding when necessary.
  • Encouraging therapy exercises.
  • Helping clients move and reposition.
  • Providing a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
  • Communicating needs and monitoring changes to your client’s condition.

Our Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates who have previous work experience or backgrounds in the following:

  • In-home hospice or care for seniors.
  • A background in dementia or memory care.
  • A background in working with seniors with Parkinson’s disease.
  • Caring for seniors with Multiple Sclerosis.
  • Experience with assisted living or companion care.
  • Experience in treating or caring for mental health or depression.
  • A background in working with breathing conditions like CHF or COPD
  • Experience supporting seniors with Hypertension.
  • A CAN certification.
