ACASA SeniorCare was founded in 2012 to help one family at a time. Founded by Daniel Wong, a former executive in the pharmaceutical industry, and his wife, Inna, a registered nurse, ACASA Senior Care was born of a need to get senior care right. The couple’s experience in becoming the personal caregivers for Daniel’s father and grandfather was heartbreaking, as none of the senior home care brands they researched seemed up to the task. If this was their experience, they knew that millions of other families were in the same boat, and they decided to take action. Eight years later, their company is one of the largest senior care brands in California. They began to look for franchise partners throughout the country, and officially added Alisa and Jared Lybbert to their franchisee team in 2023 in the south Atlanta area. Alisa and Jared bring their combined business management experience and love for serving others, and have dedicated their time and talents to serving seniors in their homes.

Yes, ACASA SeniorCare is Licensed, Bonded and Insured. This is an important question to consider when selecting the best care for your loved one. Some agencies operate as a “Registry” in which they are not licensed, bonded or insured, and the caregivers they send to your home are independent contractors making accountability difficult and liability falls on the client and family.

ACASA SeniorCare has in home caregivers and a support team available via phone available 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The normal business hours for office staff are Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm so you can rest easy knowing the care team will be here when you need them most.

Unlike other senior care brands that offer a one-size-fits-all approach to senior care, ACASA offers tiers of service catered to meet the needs of the client. All ACASA caregivers are insured and bonded, background screened and trained to the highest standards in the industry. We earn our clients’ trust with continued compassion, care and skill and by fostering their own independence.

Here are some of the ways we help our clients:

ACASA SeniorCare offers a FREE Initial in-home assessment so we can help evaluate your needs, and make recommendations for care. Our goal is to be a resource to you whether you decide to use our services or not. We believe you and your loved one deserve to be more than just a number. Our goal is to help people, not sell you on services you don’t need. You can count on us to give you our honest professional opinion and care recommendations with the clients best interest at heart.

What ACASA literally means “At Home,” and this is exactly how we make our clients feel when we’re with them. To do this, we recruit only the most talented and compassionate caregivers in the market. Because hiring caregivers is one of the most challenging aspects of running a senior home-care business, we have access to a state-of-the-art software platform that makes it easy to tell which of our caregivers will be a good fit for our clients. This not only creates an ideal environment for your caregivers, but it also makes our clients’ experience that much better.

A lot of home-care companies miss the mark on assigning caregivers to their clients, we connect caregivers to clients based on what our clients enjoy, what the caregivers’ skill sets are and what helps them enjoy their work the most. We can do everything that other companies do: set medication reminders, assist with bathing, and so on, but really our software is a matchmaking platform that allows our caregivers to get a client that is the right match for them.

Being there during those critical moments is important. At ACASA SeniorCare, we offer around-the-clock home care services to keep you or your loved one safe.  Our services can be catered around the needs of our client, allowing us to offer hourly care services within the home from four to 24-hours per day 365 days per year.

ACASA Senior Care is committed to hiring and retaining the best caregivers in the markets we serve. Even in a caregiver shortage, ACASA Senior Care is on a mission to become the preferred brand for caregivers. Above all, our goal is to provide consistent care for our clients. For us to obtain consistency for our clients, we request consistency from our clients for our staff.

Our Hourly Care Program has a 4 hour minimum per shift once per week.

Our PRN Program has a 4 hour per shift minimum, with no weekly minimums (a waitlist may apply).

We bill weekly for services delivered in the previous 7-day period. We require an auto draft on file using the client’s choice of ACH or Credit card for payment method. Clients choosing a credit card as method of payment will be subject to the fees associated with the processing of the transaction.

Our Hourly Care Program may require a deposit of up to 1 week of services required, which will be held in the account until the final week of services and applied to the last bill.

ACASA has a unique approach to senior home care in that we have access to software to match the personalities, interests, hobbies and more of our caregivers with those of the clients we’re serving. This creates a uniquely personalized approach to senior home care that ACASA excels in delivering. This gives us an advantage in allowing our caregivers to choose the work they enjoy most. By catering to their needs, our caregivers are elevated to a higher level of care, which ultimately means a far better experience for our clients.

Unlike other senior care companies, we are “Care-Matching” our clients with our staff; not simply filling a shift with any available staff member. This process takes more time, so we ask for 7-14 days for this process to be perfected.

We understand that sometimes care is needed sooner, please reach out to us to discuss your needs and we will do our best to assist you.

At ACASA SeniorCare, we want our services to make sense based upon the needs of our clients. We are not just here to sell you on a service you do not need. At our assessment we collect the information needed to make care recommendations that make sense based upon the needs identified for the client. Our goal is to keep this as cost effective as possible, while maintaining safety within the home. Each admission is done by our nursing team before care recommendations are made. Having nurses, not marketers, make care recommendations allows you to rest assured you will get an unbiased professional opinion with only the clients best interests in mind.

Additionally, we know that things can change at any time for better or worse. We believe that the best assessment of what is happening during these changes comes directly from our caregivers and family members keeping our nursing team updated. Our nursing team will re-evaluate the client’s needs on a periodic basis and update the care plan in real time as the changes are needed.

Our agency is licensed by the state, which provides strict guidelines on what qualifications are necessary for us to employ a caregiver. As such we are allowed to employ Home Health Aides, CNAs, Companions, and Homemakers. We believe it is important for prospective clients and families to understand the difference between these roles as some agencies will only be able to provide homemakers, and companions within the home.

Personal Care Assistants (PCA) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)

The performance of personal care activities contained in a written plan/assignment, which may include assist with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties as assigned.

Companions (Hands off Care)

Provide companionship, accompany patients to appointments, outings or shopping, provide light housekeeping, such as laundry, or prep of a meal, perform casual, cosmetic assistance, such as brushing hair, assisting with makeup, filing nails (no clipping), stabilize the patient while walking by holding patient’s arm or hand.

Our caregivers are W-4 employees of ACASA SeniorCare. This is an important question to consider when selecting the best care for your loved one. Some agencies operate as a “Registry” in which they are not licensed, bonded, or insured, which means the caregivers they send to your home are independent contractors. This kind of setup makes accountability difficult, because liability falls on the client and family. At ACASA Senior Care, our caregivers are covered under our license, bond and insurance.

Yes, ACASA SeniorCare is committed to providing quality care to our clients. All of our caregivers are hired based upon their compassion, trained by our nursing team, health and drug screened, and have undergone a level 2 background check. Additionally, even in the caregiver shortage, less than 10% of our applicants are actually chosen for employment. We would rather refer clients to another business than sacrifice our high standards.

Yes, ACASA SeniorCare is committed to providing quality care to our clients. One of the ways we prove that is by going above and beyond in our training requirements for our staff.

Did you know: In the state of Florida, Home health aides are NOT required to have anything more than an informational Alzheimer’s care paper reviewed with them prior to being eligible for client care? After this, the only requirement is a 2-hour Alzheimer’s training within 9 months of employment.

At ACASA SeniorCare we understand the specific needs and advanced level of training and patience that is required to care for our clients with dementia. This is why we require an 8-hour training on Alzheimer’s & Dementia care prior to case matching. We also have a nationally certified Alzheimer’s and dementia care trainer on staff to assist in the plan of care.

At ACASA SeniorCare we have dedicated care managers that will be able to take down any concerns so that the team can work to alleviate the concerns. Your care manager is also your point of contact for schedule changes, and to request care plan changes from the nursing team.

In order to obtain the best outcomes for our clients, we try to have multiple caregivers acquainted and trained for our client’s care. This way if there is a call-off, we can reach out first to the caregivers already acquainted with the case. As a back up we will reach out to all available staff if the client is agreeable to any available caregiver to fill the shift. Our goal is to try to stick with matched caregivers as much as possible.

ACASA SeniorCare is committed to hiring and retaining the best caregivers in the markets we serve. To ensure the highest quality of care we require several trainings to be completed pre-hire to help our caregivers have all the tools they need to successfully assist our clients. In addition to the pre-hire training requirements, we also have ongoing trainings the caregivers are required to maintain. Additionally, we can assign additional training for any staff that may need additional support in a particular specialty area.

Pre-Hire Trainings Required to include:

  • Dementia in many forms (Alzheimers, Parkinsons, etc)
  • Infection Control
  • Covid-19
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Tuberculosis
  • Recognizing Abuse Neglect & Exploitation
  • HIPPA
  • Biohazard Management
  • Emergency Management
  • Personal Care
  • Handwashing
  • Skills Exam
  • Skills Checkoff By Registered Nurse
